Information:
They usually will give birth to one litter a year consisting of 3-6 babies. Birthing months are typically in the spring. Their diet consists of roots and vegetation. Gophers are active during the day and in the night.
Nuisance Concerns:
They tend to damage yards and gardens the most, by destroying vegetation from the root system. As they burrow in the ground, it softens the grond which canb e dangerous to livestock.
