Information:

They are Nocturnal Animals and usually will only travel no more than 30 feet way from their nest or food. Mice usually have 5-10 litters per year consisting of 5-6 babies per litter. Homeowners are made aware of mice due to mice droppings, damage to food, or by the sounds of them running.

Nuisance Concerns:

Mice can squeeze into crevice as small as 1/4 inch wide. Most mice enter homes through open doors or windows, ventilators, floor drains, cracks and breaks in foundations; as well as holes around electric conduits and pipes.

They love to nest in dresser drawers, closets, garages, kitchens, pantries, bathrooms, funiture, etc. They will gnaw on anything, including electrical wires, books and furniture.

They however can carry diseases such as - Salmonellosis -

Removal:

APCS will set up bait stations, using anything from blocks, pellets to seeds. Droppings should not be vacuumed or swept because this could put viruses into the air. Cleanup is offer if wanted.
